STOP! Children’s Cancer of Palm Beach County, Inc. is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, dedicated to raising money to fund research for pediatric oncology.

Until 1990, the donations supported research, medicines and laboratory equipment at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Later that year, an endowment was created to sustain the ongoing annual efforts at Shands, to include a team of doctors and fellows dedicated to finding a cure.

In the early 2000s, Miami Children’s Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, The Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital approached STOP! for financial consideration on specific oncology projects. With careful reflection, STOP! identified the needs and expanded their funding to also support these organizations.

STOP Children’s Cancer of Palm Beach County is focused on supporting life saving research for pediatric oncology. Our board members volunteer their time and resources to further STOP Children’s Cancer of Palm Beach County’s mission to raise funds to support pediatric oncology research.
